A close relative of the newt you used to see in every pet store, this species is better suited to life in captivity due to handling warmer temps and staying fully aquatic as juveniles through adulthood. These are aquatic CB 2024 offspring feeding on daphnia, mosquito larvae, blackworms, white worms, etc. They are decedents of the light strain of cyanurus imported by Seagrest farms just prior to the newt and salamander ban in 2016. We are proud to be keeping and breeding this fun little species.
