These are the 'dark variant' of Tylototriton verrucosus. This variant will stay aquatic as juveniles and into adulthood. They do like an island to haul out on and lots of live plants so they can rest near the surface of the water. Very limited number of 2021 offspring available feeding on blackworms, whiteworms, and earthworms.
