A small underrated species of newt from Western Europe. Uncommon in the US hobby. These are CB 2021 juveniles feeding on daphnia, mosquito larvae, blackworms, white worms, etc. Small live foods are a must. These are being kept aquatic but they are escape artists so a secure lid with no openings is a must! Metamorphs are between 1 and 1.5 inches. We recommend keeping them shallow setups with lots of plants so they can rest at the surface. Can reach adult size and breed in a year.
